"George Adams (c1720 - 1773) was an English optical designer and scientific writer who was also well known as a maker of mathematical instruments and globes. Among his works are a Treatise on the Construction and Use of Globes and an Essay on the Microscope."

A scarce book with remarkable plates. Covers well worn. Pages are fragile but intact and there is some minor foxing as shown. I have identified ALL plates 1 through to 34 with none missing however there are "page remains" where it appears that something may have been cut out so please study photos and compare to your own references as required.
